Serving Size Makes 24
Ingredients
1 organic egg
65 ml macadamia nut or light olive oil
65 g apple sauce
1/2 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 cup organic plain flour
1 cup organic rolled oats
1 teaspoon baking powder
100 g dark chocolate chopped
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 180 C. Beat the egg, oil, apple sauce, sugar and vanilla until combined.
- Add the flour, baking powder, oats and chocolate. Fold in by hand until mixed through.
- Place spoonfuls on to baking trays lined with non stick baking paper. Bake the cookies for about 15 - 20 minutes until golden.
- Cool on a wire rack and store in an airtight container.
